Affiliate disclosure
How we earn money, which links pay us, and what that does and does not influence.
Last updated: 6 August 2026
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you open an account or purchase an evaluation through one, we may receive a commission from the provider at no additional cost to you. Your terms and pricing are identical either way.
We disclose this at the top of every page containing affiliate links, before you reach the link. This page is an additional reference, not the primary disclosure.
Which links pay us
Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" and appear in review pages as buttons or links to the provider. Links between our own pages are never affiliate links.
We participate in affiliate programmes run directly by brokers and prop firms and through affiliate networks. Participation may begin or end at any time, and we do not remove reviews when it ends.
What commission does not buy
Vague disclosure statements are worthless, so specifically:
- A commercial relationship does not buy a higher position, a better assessment or the removal of criticism.
- We do not accept payment for inclusion in a review or a category listing.
- We do not accept provider-written content presented as editorial.
- We never soften or omit a required risk warning for a commercial partner.
- Competing alternatives are listed on every review, including ones that pay us nothing.
Why disclosure placement matters here
Regulators require material connections to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously, close to the recommendation, and not buried where a reader is unlikely to see it. In financial services the standard is higher still, because the potential consumer harm is greater.
We place disclosure at the top of every review, above the first affiliate link, alongside the applicable risk warning. If you think we have fallen short anywhere on this site, tell us.
Your choices
You are never obliged to use our links. Navigate directly to any provider and the terms you receive will be the same.
Commission never changes the risk of the underlying product. A leveraged CFD is equally risky whether or not we were paid for the referral.
