Purpose
This policy sets the standard FXBrokerLab applies to its content, so readers, providers and affiliate partners can hold us to a stated benchmark rather than an implied one.
Independence
Which providers we review, what we say and which alternatives we list are decided independently of commercial relationships. No provider may review, approve or edit content before publication.
Sourcing standards
- Claims about features, rules and terms are sourced from provider documentation.
- Claims about regulation are checked against public regulatory registers, not provider marketing.
- Cost claims describe the pricing model rather than figures that date, and link to the provider for live terms.
- Statements about user experience are drawn from public feedback across multiple platforms and described as recurring themes, not as our own experience.
- Where we do not know something, we say so.
Prohibited practices
- Fabricating testimonials, quotes, reviewer identities or performance statistics.
- Presenting research as personal trading experience.
- Publishing star ratings or scores without a stated, auditable basis.
- Omitting, shrinking or softening a required risk warning.
- Making or implying income claims or profit projections.
- Using artificial urgency, countdown timers or invented scarcity around financial products.
- Omitting a material risk because a commercial relationship exists.
Risk warnings are not optional
Every page promoting a leveraged product carries the applicable risk warning, prominently and before the first affiliate link. Every page covering a prop firm explains that an evaluation is a paid assessment and not an investment.
These are never removed, reduced or moved below the fold for commercial reasons.
Updates and corrections
Every review carries a last-verified date. We revisit pages when we become aware of material changes and re-date them.
Corrections are made openly. We do not silently edit substantive errors.
We correct factual errors promptly when a provider supplies the specific claim and a source. We decline requests to remove accurate criticism or required warnings.
Accountability
If content falls short of this policy, tell us. We will correct it and, where the failure is substantive, note the correction on the page.
